The primary way people learn about my work is through the trusted experiences of friends and community. As I'm now able to focus on hands-on care, that's more important than ever!

I'm seeking those willing to offer their name, a portrait photo, and not more than 3 sentences (40-80 words). Super simple and it's going to make the world of difference for others to see that you found this work to be supportive.

For those of you that have said you feel awkward about the reduced pay-what-you-can session fees : this is a terribly sweet opportunity to offer back a bit of share exchange <3

Let's get together

Morning Pause for Gender Creatives
Virtual (Zoom) Monday-Friday 8-8h30 (EST)

This is a space for a few of us to share a 30 minute pause in the morning. No sound and cameras are optional. Come and go as you desire! Meditating, morning pages, hypnosis, physio or stretching exercises: it is all welcome! You do you.

Montréal Trans* Happenings
Virtual (WhatsApp)

For those seeking trans/non-binary/intersex/two-spirit exclusive events in Montréal: I've got a WhatsApp announcement group (no chatter, just aggregated event posts) you can join. If you see an event I've missed / you want promoted, just pop the details to me on that app!

Trans* Dinner & Somatic Games
In-person at Le Frigo Vert, Sunday 17th November at 17h

We're going to cover the dinner (vegan friendly) though you're welcome to bring along your own. This space is for anyone trans/non-binary/intersex/two-spirit to connect in a low key, chill way. No expectation of social engagement because witnessing is participation -- so you're welcome to be as social or not as feels yummy in the moment. I

'm going to offer some opportunities for you to play with somatics and improv, if the desire arises for you. More details will be available via my IG as the details solidify. Le Frigo Vert is a wheelchair accessible, scent-free storefront on the ground floor on Mackay street next to Guy Concordia metro (more info about the space here).

Please sign up via Eventbrite so we can have the correct amount of yummy food available. No expectation of donation: please join regardless! All proceeds go to Le Frigo Vert.

Upcoming classes

Getting playful with rope
In-person
Saturday 7th + Sunday 8th January at 13h

Curious about playing with bondage? I promise it can be both simple and profound, without knots and fancy ties! Join me for two days of rope play for those that have no clue where to begin, or want to break away from the rigor of Shibari.

I'll offer games to play, invite you into movement, and generally encourage mayhem and fuckery within a safe-enough container for you to relax and learn how to engage with this toy in ways that feel yummy to you. No memorizing! No knots! Just silliness and opportunities for connection.

Where I've been...

Closing out my last season in my community garden plot gifted me with a harvest of herbs and veggies to cook and freeze, tinctures and scrubs, bundles and drying to be done. I also harvested a broadening heart full of connections and am working on weaving those through the tapestry of community around me! It's been such an awesome journey having my home open to so much more client activity, as well as kith & kin bridge building over shared cooking, somatic and improv activities that invite us into exchanges of understanding the other.

I've been spending a lot of time thinking about the ways socially engineered "masculinity" and "femininity" so often get boiled down to perceptions of privilege and oppression. Subsequently narrowing discourse into the limiting frame of binary opposition. I find myself roaming past the realities of affect and into the realm of dis-identification. Swimming along the margins of imagined boundaries of identities, I live to soak within the depths of imaginative articulation and playful crafting of living out alternative realities, where and how we're able.

Where do we / how can we find increased access to our sovereign gender/ing intelligibility? And what do we need to stay connected to our own guiding star?

Where I'm being...

I am able to re-imagine my unique self (swirls of textural masculinity, femininity, and other) because I'm dedicated to the continued desuturing of these constructs from my body. I choose to center an understanding of my body as both contextual and relational. This is why I find it deeply important to study the weave of these threads within the tapestry of my sense of embodiment and internal landscape. bell hooks reminds us to "listen in the space between words" and I like to apply this to the of threads of my knowledge (context, relational, AND embodied) by calling attention to the spaciousness between their crossing and binding. Noticing what I don't know and haven't yet imagined, and being mindful and curious about the opportunities found within absence!

Over the years I've worked to realign with my felt sensations and imagery by focusing on pleasure. It has been my dissociated refuge from harms, my touchstone of security which reminded me of past survivals, and also a resource by which I situate into my body. For me, gendering is a creative site of actualizing contradictory and subversive ways of showing up in the world! That's why my work centers embodied movements and actions that create a range of possibilities and expansiveness of gender/ing knowledge from within!

Trans* Creative Space for Immigrants & Refugees

A handful of ya'll shared from your pockets and made it possible to get our AGIR trans social support groups into the cozy artsy co-op space of Le Milieu. Since then, I've worked out a plan to allow us access to that space for FREE once a month. Thanks to those beautiful folx that we able to offer some funds to get the ball rolling those first two months -- it made the difference and ushered us into the space with an exchange of gratitude.

We hosted a trans* dinner for immigrants and refugees just this last week: pulling out fiber arts, painting, and games. It was our biggest turn out yet! Over 10 countries and more than 5 languages were represented and shared. If you or someone you know identifies in this way,
