In the tapestry of our lives, our scars are the threads that tell a story. They are the tangible evidence of transformation, of journeys taken and identities shed and/or embraced. From the heart of our trans and gender non-conforming community, where strength and resilience are our compass, we invite you to join us on an intimate exploration of the art of trans scar care.

Imagine a space where the lines etched on our bodies are not just marks, but vibrant expressions of who we are. We are a collective of local trans, genderqueer, and queer bodyworkers, coming together to celebrate the stories carried within the scars of trans, 2-Spirit, intersex, and non-binary individuals who have walked the path of gendered-related surgeries (top, bottom, hysto, and beyond). Montréal is a beacon with over a thousand surgeries each year, where the pursuit of trans healthcare unfolds.

Amidst this backdrop, we passionately extend our hands to offer more than mere surgical support – we offer lived understanding, community connection, and the profound strength of collective endeavours. Our holistic post-surgical support embraces scars as companions in this ongoing journey. Within a medical system focused on efficiency, we prioritize the sacred work of nurturing and healing. For every scar, there is a unique story that intertwines pain and grief, pleasure and joy, resilience and vulnerability. Through gentle touch, shared wisdom, and a sprinkle of magic, we create a safe space where scars become symbols of empowerment.

Join us in this captivating showcase, where four practitioners come together to weave a tapestry of narratives. We'll unveil our diverse approaches to scar care, peeling back the layers to reveal the heartbeats that drive us. Beyond the clinical, we delve into the profound value of queer and trans bodywork, designed by and for our cherished communities. We encourage you to bring your inquiries, ponderings, and curiosity about the intricate art of scar healing and embodiment.

This is an invitation to grow, share, and integrate connectivity. We are crafting the future of holistic trans*inclusive care, encouraging you to be a part of that change by forging connections with our practitioners and one another. Let's journey beyond the surface and towards a continuum of care, embracing those who have undergone or are considering gender-affirming surgeries, and those navigating the aftermath of non-consensual gender-related procedures. This space is meant as a haven where bodywork and healthcare practitioners extend their hands to support the magnificent mosaic of trans, 2-Spirit, intersex, and non-binary communities.

As the stars twinkle above, we come together not as strangers, but as galactic gender storytellers. Our scars are the verses, the ink that dances on the parchment of our existence. Join us, and let's celebrate the journey, the scars, and the vibrant, resilient souls that bear them.

Hosted with support of Pervers/Cité, an anti-corporate queer and trans festival that relies on dedicated volunteers to operate each year. If you appreciate the festival, please consider donating to the 2023 edition BIPOC fund.

Seeking a Venue!

We have reached out to several locations but many are funded by and only available during the college school year. If you know someone that has access to a wheelchair accessible and low cost space that can seat 50 people (and includes the chairs), please make an email introduction with Ro@QueerlyFluid.com because your direct connection will make a great difference <3

Seeking Support!

We need someone that is willing to support this event: I'm happy to offer a trade for this service. You would need to have some social media tech knowledge and attention to detail please. Email me if you're interested to support.

Masculinizing Top Surgery
Grief & Pleasure Circle

Online group & course hybrid (10 spots)
October 3, 10, 17 from 17-18h30 EST

Sliding scale 60-180$

I received lots of emails about the last event with many of you asking for it to be accessible online: so here we are! I'm going to offer a hybrid where we meet together digitally AND you'll have access to weekly video course content AND home play exercises. Yea, it's going to be as awesome as you think!

This transformative surgical experience often holds a multiverse of both grief and pleasure in our heart, mind, and body. In this complexity, we'll practice being with the shakiness and weight of the grief we hold together, and collectively craft supportive grieving rituals.

We will simultaneously practice turning toward the reliefs and joys found within this experience, and celebrate the possibilities of pleasure with guided chest care and sensual touch that supports your scars and individual needs.

This event is open to all that identify with an ethos of gender queering and have already under gone masculinizing chest surgery.

As ever, you get first access via this mailing list! Limited space so jump on it if you're interested, before I send this out to social and it fills up.
